I guess this was a better game to watch in person because it was rough on TV.

I was there. It wasn't better to watch in person.

I really appreciate Jeremy finding a silver lining though. A draw and clean sheet on the road against our biggest rivals should feel like a victory. The anemic attack really and recent results really undercut that. I hope Boli improves, Evander continues to build chemistry, Santi returns to his best form, Mora comes back firing on all cylinders, Blanco is able to contribute again, and Asprilla emerges early as Mr November.

I do think it's possible for Mosquera and Bravo to be on the pitch at the same time without sacrificing defense. We need an attack that keeps opposing teams honest though. We can't be so reliant on Mosquera getting forward, as much as he excels at it. Our wingers and forwards just aren't contributing enough on either side of the ball and that hurts the midfield and back line. I also think we've missed a leader on the back line and/or a field marshall overall. There doesn't seem to be a Captain in the sense of one who is something of an assistant coach on the pitch, someone to organize, someone to lead, and someone to command. We need a Nat Borchers, a Ridgy, a Will Johnson, a Blanco, or a Valeri to either take the team on their shoulders or rally the troops. We've seen too many performances where the team doesn't look like their playing with their hearts or their heads.
