If there was an all time “Beat Seattle” XI, Dairon would probably be my first selection into the lineup, for that reason I think he has a slight edge over Best and Mora

Put some respect on Ryan Pore's name for the Sunflower Goal! Other than that, a fun read. Definitely a tough task. To me, Blanco and Asprilla are absolute locks. I do think Scot should be the player that represents the USL era in the 11! I realize that leaves out so many deserving defenders but they're used to getting screwed on lists like this. 😂

Great article Jeremy! I love your reasoning for your All-Time XI. Yes, mine differed slightly... I really love your Cult Hero XI. We've had so many Timbers who deserved to be recognized! The All-Time XI should be an All-Time XXII (and not because it's my username).

He doesn't meet the qualifying criteria but Peter Withe on the 1975 was a goal scoring machine and I've never seen another number 9 as good as Peter Withe.

Withe was a voting option for forward.

I will admit, I didn't look at the list but the biggest difference between the 75 Timbers and the 76 Timbers was Peter Withe

Another great read, Jeremy. I'm in the privileged position of having seen almost every player on that list.

I think you're missing out by not including Jimmy Conway. Also how is it possible that Graham Day did not make the candidates list at defender?

I loved reading about your soccer camp experience. My dad took me to a John Bain camp. Then hung about all day so he could talk to the players.
